Description:
A fine, free-flowing powder comprising hollow ceramic spheres of fused alumino silicate (cenospheres) which have been coated with silver metal.
Properties
The metallic silver coating gives the bulk particles (cenospheres) electrical conduction properties.
When added to paints, adhesives, sealers, and resin composite materials at appropriate ratios, these materials can then provide electrical conductivity and shielding of electronic devices against Electro Magnetic Interference.
The low particle density of cenospheres facilitates slow phase separation in paints and adhesives compared to heavy metallic and inorganic fillers.
